HAHAH! I downloaded this one and when i went to play it on my secondary computer @1440x900, I got shit frame-rate! why is that a good thing you ask? Its because it proves Farbrausch's prowess. Not only can they produce a trippy as hell video that looks and sounds awesome, but they can max an ATi? 5450 wile their at it. Now i just have to wonder what my primary comp at home w/ 6870 @ 1920x1080+1080(multi monitors for the unexperienced) will do!

Aside from Turrican II they didn't include any of the Sierra? adventure games (not a single one!), which is downright criminal considering their series had several sequals that were loved by a generation. They didn't include the Commodore 64 classic The Last Ninja, which at the time was a roaring critical and commercial success. Many other games pushed the envelope and were important influences for future games but most of those were never mentioned Probably too young journalists..

Actually those 1001 Albums and 1001 Movies have a pretty even and unbiased? balance of old classics, little heard of milestones, critical favorites and mainstream hits. I didn't feel insulted by either of them since many of my favorite movies and albums appeared (especially many that are criminally underrated and overlooked). However, these 1001 videogames almost entirely consisted of games from the 2000's, included loads of seriously bland and bad games from 2009 as one of those.

Just purchased the book "1001 videogames you have to play before you die." Turrican II was NOT included. Along with several other timeless classics that really remained in the memory of the player for several years. In that book 80% of all games were from the 2000's and over 100 from the year 2009 alone. Doesn't say speak of an insane bias for really anonymous modern? games??

Just did this last night with less than 1k hp on Yuffie and lvl 1 limits. I was so chuffed :D Then I watched this and realised I could have made it easier by nullifying the Trine damage on Godo. :( Wish I had the Enemy Skills you did aswell, wouldn't have taken me so long. Basically I had Poison-Added Effect on? the weap, and the damage over time + Greased Lightning killed him in between me using Cure and Barrier. Didn't think it would end with him spamming Cure2 on himself.

sometimes the controls can be very unintuitive. It's? been awhile since I played this game so I can't really be more specific, but if you can't do it from the main menu, try doing it from the quick select menu. Hold the appropriate shoulder button (R2) and see if you can change ammo type from there.

I've seen this game only once before and thought it was bizzare even by Japanese standards. When you're fighting the mermaid she attacks you those Japanese characters.I guess it's her song harming you.I don't know the language well but I? think the characters look like the hiragana for 'o', 'ma' x5 ?? and 'tsu' at the end.Can anyone tell me what it says and what it means.Thanks It's still a weird game,but clearly fun.
