Of course there are! By the thirty greater directors, I primarily meant American. Those statements were supposed to be separate. But, I don't think Spielberg is better. They're both very corporate directors, but I preferred T2? and Aliens over every Spielberg flick.
By: EricAKATheBelgianGuy. on 30 Apr 12, 19:37:42
He's not even the best director in America. Even some who have never won are better.? Scorsese, Eastwood, Altman, Tarantino, Lumet, Spielberg, to name a few. I'd even throw Gus Van Sant's name in there, if for no other reason than he knows how to make more with less.

I love the movie Titanic? :D

James Cameron? did amazing job directing Titanic.?
By: rootbeerking987. on 27 Apr 12, 19:47:35
No he's not. That's bullshit. I can name at least 30 greater directors than him and in case you didn't know, there's this thing calle foreign? film.
By: VSeeN. on 23 Apr 12, 17:36:31
The effects were brilliant in that movie. I did not care for the movie itself but the way? it was filmed was brilliant.
By: MattEdwards6761. on 23 Apr 12, 08:09:42
He so deserved this! Titanic is the best movie of all time!? Way to go James!

Why wasn't Leo there??
By: roackmai. on 20 Apr 12, 06:09:17
mate, i know that, up till today he is still one of the best directors, standing beside other good directors like Christopher Nolan, Martin Scorsese, etc. and well for michael bay, he is really no where any near these great directors, michael bay can get the fk back to his small little? kids section movies
By: Hollywoodsteve. on 20 Apr 12, 03:18:03
Many who have worked with him have said he's difficult or whatever, but his attention to detail? and historical accuracy and such is why he deserved this honor. He's a visionary. Oh and I loved his film "Aliens" as well as "Titanic."
By: ladyevenstar22. on 20 Apr 12, 02:40:23
i'd be smug too if i was him, even more so these past few days now that titanic is his second 2 billion $ film! he is the king of the boxoffice worldwide hands down: all bow? to king cameron
By: soundatstage. on 19 Apr 12, 17:34:15
James Cameron is one of the greatest filmmakers of the 20th century. And? if you can´t accept that, you are alone in a very dark place.
By: roackmai. on 19 Apr 12, 17:25:15
well my friend,? with all due respect, michael bay is nothing but a piece of trash that lacks of experiences and ideas like James Cameron. these shitty directors are for kids, they make kids movie for people like you.
